Will Cohen
Will joined The Mill in July 2003 and now leads the film and TV divisions as Group Director of Mill Film and TV.
He has been responsible for expansion of the department who are now 60 strong, along with development of The Mill’s long form visual effects and the pipeline for television and film. Will has led his team working on high profile dramas including Doctor Who – which has earned the team both a BAFTA and VES Award for outstanding visual effects; Merlin and Torchwood for the BBC, 28 Weeks Later for DNA Films, the Oscar winning Closer for Mike Nichols, Troy for Warner Brothers and Longford for HBO/Channel 4.
More recently, Will has worked on BBC One’s Sherlock and the Sky1 drama Skellig, Damned United directed by Tom Hooper, as well as Jordon Scott’s first feature film, Cracks for Scott Free. He is currently working on the new series of ITV’s Primeval, a special anniversary edition of Coronation Street and the third instalment of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader due for cinematic release this December.
Prior to joining The Mill, Will has worked at many of London’s premiere Production Companies and Post Production Facilities including Stink and The Moving Picture Company but started his career as a runner/head runner at The Mill back in 1994. He is also a member of BAFTA and The Visual Effects Society (VES).
