We’ve been brewing up a VFX storm over the last few weeks in the form of the VFX Festival 2013. Last year’s Festival was a huge success, tickets sold out in 72 hours and after a week of packed workshops and talks, this time we had no choice but to make things bigger and better!
This year’s festival will be over 2 weeks, and in those 2 weeks we’ll be bringing you some of the largest names in the industry, representing some of the most world renowned post houses in workshops, talks and of course an Industry Panel Debate, in which some of the most influential bods in the VFX industry will assemble. (Oh, and did we mention that this panel debate will be chaired by a top secret celebrity speaker?)
On the workshop front, we can unveil that amongst the many we’ll have on offer (covering a range of different industry softwares) - our main man Victor Perez is going to be returning to host a series of Python workshops, the spectrum of which covers all levels of expertise, from the ultimate beginner, all the way up to the most senior of artists who want to up skill!
The closing premiere is set to be nothing short of spectacular too, the venue of which is in the West End’s rather happening, Leicester Square. This party is going to be a huge networking event with free drinks for attendees and a recruitment box where you can post your CV and showreel, and we’ll make sure it gets passed on to the right people!
Remember too folks that this year you'll be able to buy workshops, screenings and closing party tickets separately, so you can pick and choose what works best for you! There’s still so much more to unveil, so keep your eyes peeled and be sure to register for the latest Festival news here.
See you there, right?
