Many of you will know who I’m referring to if I mention Sulley, Boo and Mike Wazowski. If you don’t, shame on you. They are, of course, the main characters from Disney’s Monsters Inc. The film won an Oscar, a BAFTA and a variety of other awards for its storyline, music and character animation. So if you haven’t seen it, invest, as it’s definitely worth a watch.

It is my great pleasure then, to announce that the prequel to Monsters Inc, aptly named Monsters University, is in production! The story follows Mike Wazowski and Sulley around university, before they started work at Monsters Inc. It’s been long overdue but the film is already becoming increasingly sought after, even more so since Disney has recently released a teaser trailer. With the returning voice talents of John Goodman and Billy Crystal you can feel safe in the knowledge that the majority of the original cast will be returning once again. Due for release in Summer 2013, we reckon this is definitely going to be a hit next year (which also gives plenty of time for those who haven’t seen the first one to go out and buy it, now.)
