Spring Cleaning - NY Times Guide to Gadgets You Keep, Gadgets You Toss

Spring Cleaning - NY Times Guide to Gadgets You Keep, Gadgets You Toss

Spring has arrived and it's that time of year again to decide what stays and what goes. Are you ready to upgrade your phone, donate clothes to Salvation Army or archive your classic movie collection and favorite video games?

The NY Times has made a list of gadgets with staying power versus those that will go the way of the DayRunner and VHS. Not surprisingly, smart phones can do just about anything these days - they can take the place of point and shoot cameras, digital music players and camcorders. Books are earmarked as "keepers" - I agree. I think e-readers are great, but nothing takes the place of an old fashioned book. What do you think?
