Skillset funding back for second year

We have a dozen places available on our new Skillset VFX course. Funded by Skillset UK’s Film Fund, the places are free for wannabe graphic designers who apply before 21st August.

At the end of the course our applicants will each go on a four week placement within the industry, demonstrating both our and Skillset’s commitment to providing not just an education, but the skills, experience and confidence to get your first job in computer graphics.

If successful, you’ll receive training in the use of industry standard software, including Maya and Nuke, and learn all of the camera tracking, lighting and compositing skills needed. With these skills, you’ll be well on your way to creating an awesome visual effects showreel to impress any prospective employer.

The course starts on 28th September and runs for 18 weeks followed by the month long placement, with a three week break over Christmas and New Year. Keen? Visit the Skillset page on Escape Studios’ website now: www.escapestudios.com/skillset
