Self-Publishing: Buzz of the Games Industry

Self-Publishing: Buzz of the Games Industry

We hosted a TIGA event on Self-Publishing a couple of days ago. There were developers from many of UK’s independent studios and a few larger studios as well - proof if I needed one, that this topic is very much the buzz of the industry.

There was a great line-up of speakers, who came to share their ideas on how you can make it happen. The presentation by Chris Kempt gave a sneak-peak into the world of Advergaming, and what opportunity it presents for gamers today. Nicholas Lovell of GAMESBrief looked at the business side of gaming and Andy Payne of Mastertronic chatted about his experiences on developing the hits Just Flight and Just Trains. Julien Wera of ICO partners shared his tips on marketing and how studios can go about it.

You can check out the Kempt showreel above. If you’d like more info on the presentations or about the content, get in touch.
