Free Radical Design

Have you always wanted a career in this industry?

Yes, I had always wanted a career in this industry, and I moved to the UK specifically to try to work in games.

How did you find out about Escape, and what was it like?

I found out about Escape Studios on the Internet, and after the studio visit I realized it was a really professional environment and right for me.

What happened after the course?

After the course I got freelance work provided by Escape and also worked on my showreel. After a couple of months I started sending my CV to recruitment agencies which led to interviews all around the UK.

Where do you work now?

I work as a 3D artist for Free Radical Design, one of the main games companies in the UK.

What advice would you give to any prospective students?

Try to concentrate and watch professionals as they work in order to try and understand their techniques and their secrets. Practicing every day is really important as well. The more passion you have the more you will improve.
