Postage Stamps Getting Even More Hip

I thought the Elvis stamp a couple years back was the pinnacle of cool postage stamps. But on January 3 of this year, the US Postal Service announced that it was issuing a series of five special stamps featuring Pixar Characters.

I love Buzz Lightyear and am a big fan of WALL-E so I’m excited to get the stamps when they hit the market in August. I think it’s great that the Postal Service is giving a nod to the entertainment industry again (they often do in one way or another) and especially by highlighting these Pixar films. The five films featured, Toy Story, WALL-E, Ratatouille, Up and Cars are definitely five films that deserve to be highlighted! I can think of other Pixar films that are deserving as well, but these stamps are a great way to give Pixar more of the recognition it rightfully deserves!
