I think it is safe to say that many of us have been affected by the decline of the economy and downfall of the US job market the past few years. However, times are changing. I wanted to share my recent discovery of this article highlighting the demand for new grads to go digital.
According to Kathleen Milnes, an adjunct associate professor at Otis College of Art and Design, "new fields are always opening up." This optimism sheds new light on the CG industry. But even the best of candidates need to make themselves even more competitive through their portfolio or demo reels. The 3D training we provide can lead to so many new opportunities for our students.
Escapes' entry into the US market as one of the world’s leading CG Academies, speaks greatly to not only our reputation in the industry, but also the need for our expertise. In addition to the practical hands-on skills training we provide our students, we also focus on preparing our students for work, including a full recruitment program. If you are an aspiring CG artist and want to receive a free reel review from our LA Academic Director, Tad Leckman, why not come on one of our free Studio Tours?
