Now THAT'S a portfolio!

Now THAT'S a portfolio!

Tomorrow, Escape Studios will be hosting another industry visit to the heart of Soho, where our friends over at Cinesite will be showing attendees exactly where the lifeblood of UK VFX is pumped from.

Kicking the afternoon off will be Cinesite’s very own, Michele Sciolette, he will be giving an overview of the many areas where in-house technology development helped Cinesite create better VFX - With reference to his recent work on 2012’s biggest title, James Bond: Skyfall.

In case you were wondering, over the years Michele has worked on some rather heavyweight projects, from head of visual effects technology on Skyfall, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2 (He has also featured on the VFX credits for another 3 Harry potter films) to Senior TD on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Technical Manager on VFX Oscar winning the Golden Compass, as well as work on the iconic V for Vendetta and the 2005 remake of Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

Not a bad portfolio eh? (that's not even everything!) You can count the number of seats left for tomorrow’s event on one hand, so if you’re hankering for some words of wisdom from a VFX guru, be sure to contact us ASAP!

If there are no seats left - get your name on the waiting list in case of any last minute cancellations!
