No more wearing funny lycra suits with balls on... You can now motion capture yourself from the comfort of your own home. You can check it out here - there's even a whole bunch of videos for you to watch.
Not sure how good this would be for production but certainly worth getting to mess about with at home.
Although all the code to do this can be found for free on the internet, I am sure it will only be a matter of time before a company like Dneg develops their own system.
