The UK attracts worldwide attention for the high standard of post-production being undertaken by facilities around the country. London houses a number of such companies, but this talent stretches up and down the country. Mere Mortals Moving Image, based in Newcastle, is a company growing from strength to strength, while adopting new technologies like Nuke X and Pro Tools HD.

A recent press release announced the facility’s expansion into the Middle East as they open a sister company, Spitfire, in Dubai this year, which since take off is proving very popular with customers old and new.

Obviously this is a very exciting time for the team at Mere Mortals, and we wish them every success. We particularly look forward to seeing where their plans for a 3D department in Dubai will take them. Watch this space.
