Mentored Compositing Course
Become a Master of Illusion
Escape Studios’ Online Mentored Compositing course provides the skills you need to get a job in the competitive world of Visual Effects (VFX). During 40 weeks of tuition, you will learn the latest techniques in Nuke and be able to seamlessly combine CG elements into live action video shots. A license of Nuke will be supplied upon course commencement.
Each online mentored course offered by Escape Studios is supported by a team of instructors to help you through the course. Instructors are available via email and our eLearning platform during times designated at the outset of the course. And, the platform is available 24 hours a day so you can work there when and how you’d like.
This course starts each week with a video lesson and an assigned project. At the end of each week you will submit your project online for review by your instructor.
With our eLearning platform and our social network connections, you will be able to share work, collaborate with other students in your course and provide feedback to one another.

Course Structure
- The course consists of 40 weeks of study with regular breaks for holidays and vacations
- Each week, you will be provided with a set of HD video tutorials and a project brief
- Your completed projects need to be submitted for review by your instructors, who will provide detailed video feedback
- This course requires about 15 hours of work per week
Virtual Classroom
- The whole course is accessed via our brilliant social eLearning platform
- You get a virtual classroom where you can chat with your classmates and instructors
- Other students' work and feedback will also be available to you for review
- Access all assignments, course tutorials, source files and background notes from the same place
