The latest version of Maxwell Render has been released this week, with a neat new technology called Maxwell Fire. This is a new interactive rendering tool which gives users instant results when setting up a scene, so you can preview scene lighting and materials within seconds. This is pretty neat and should make a difference to your workflows.
There are lots of other fixes and improvements in the latest version that artists can get stuck into, like new workflow improvements including new scripting functions, new command line options and parameters, and networking improvements especially for running animations.
If you are an existing user running Maxwell Render 2 or higher, you can get the latest version via a free download here.
