Master VFX – Think outside the box
Like most visual effects artists, Mark worked his way up, and it wasn’t long before Peerless Camera Company, co-owned by Terry Gilliam, noticed his potential and gave him his very first break as a runner. It was the beginning of a partnership which went from strength to strength, and Mark worked on every major film produced during his time there, from ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ to the most recent: ‘The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus’ starring the late Heath Ledger. Working with Martin Campbell on ‘Zorro’ and ‘Mask of Zorro’, then supervising on the set of Casino Royale it’s no wonder that Mark was snapped up by post-house Double Negative to take charge of the CG team responsible for the parachute on Ewan Mcgregors character the Carmalengo in ‘Angels and Demons’.
What will this webinar teach you?
Advance your creativity in Maya by thinking out of the box. This webinar looks at using Maya's toolset in different contexts i.e Cloth, fluids, hair - they don't just have to be used in the way they were intended. You'll discover what each tool is capable of when used in conjunction with each other and what possibilities are available. During this webinar we'll look at setting up a collision detection system for animated geometry using Maya's built in tools and discuss whether using cloth (nucleus) as a rigid body engine is faster than Maya's own.
Make sure you don't miss out on the fantastic opportunity to change the way you work as a VFX artist. Register today for your chance to attend this webinar.
