Linda Siegel
Linda Siegel is the Senior Training Manager of Digital Domain, the Academy Award©-winning digital production and special effects studio based in Venice, California.
A veteran of more than 25 years in the film industry, Linda is responsible for all elements of training and outreach at Digital Domain. In addition to developing a state-of-the art training curriculum for new employees, Linda focuses on continuing education programs for all employees, including unique artist enrichment programs and outreach to educational institutions.
Linda’s career in the film industry started at Lucas film and she remained at ILM for more than twenty years alternating between training and movie production roles. She spent 15 years as a compositor and TD/Lighter with credits including Forrest Gump, the Star Wars prequels, the Terminator series, the Jurassic Park films, several of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Mission Impossible, Flubber, The Indian in the Cupboard, Disclosure, and Mighty Joe Young.
When she isn’t making movies, Linda lives in Marin County with her husband, New York Times best-selling novelist Sheldon Siegel, their twin sons, Alan and Stephen, and their two cats, Wilma and Betty. She is a member of the Visual Effects Society.
