Are you familiar with the phrase ‘never let the truth get in the way of a good story’? Well it seems the Jurassic Park universe is adhering to this rule for its 4th instalment.
Paleontological discoveries of the last few years have discovered a number of things that rear their head above the parapet of continuity, leaving some decisions to be made regarding the appearance and attributes of certain Dinosaurs.
For example it has been found that Velociraptors actually had feathers, and the fact that T-Rex’s couldn’t see their prey if it stood still (remember Jurassic Park 1?) has turned out to be absolute balderdash!
Director Colin Trevorrow further confirmed that there will be no drastic aesthetic changed by tweeting “No feathers. #JP4” last week, which is probably a good thing, imagine the mass hysteria if a few minor details were to change?
