This is a very interesting installation commissioned by the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet for their 40th anniversary, created by the British based artist, Quayola.
Quayola traditionally uses video and music to create installations that always start with a 2d image with which the video montage is made from.
This new installation called Matter takes a new direction for Quayola as this time he starts with a 3d model. Houdini was used for this project and it's a great example of just how much a creative tool Houdini can be. It’s not just for blowing stuff up.
