The sixth General Parallel File System (GPFS) User Group is set to take place on September 20th at The Bishopswood Golf Club, Bishopswood, Bishopswood Lane, Tadley in Hampshire.
The aim of the GPFS user group is to raise awareness of GPFS as a capable data management platform, find out the newest developments and to provide a local community of GPFS users to share knowledge and support.
And our good friend Jez Tucker, from Rushes has tipped us off on a little snippet of information. The lead developer of pNFS at IBM Almaden Research Labs, Dean Hildebrand, will be presenting along with Vic Cornell from DataDirect Networks and Andrew Dean from OCF.
