As you probably know Escape Studios organised and hosted the UK’s first VFX Festival last week with events, seminars and master classes taking place across London. The VFX Festival went down an absolute storm and was a fantastic platform to demonstrate the success of the UK’s ever-expanding visual effects industry.
It is less well known that behind the scenes the Escape Studios Technology team were instrumental in acquiring some of the festival’s key speakers including our friends, industry partners, clients and suppliers from Soho. Escape Technology were also on hand to offer budding CGI artists technology advice on software, hardware and storage.
The VFX festival was the perfect platform to showcase the variety of talented visual effects artists and companies in the UK including big names like The Mill, Framestore, Cinesite and MPC but also highlighting the skills and importance of the UK’s smaller and boutique studios.
As a valued customer of Escape Technology we couldn’t have suggested a better team than the Glowfrog team to be at the forefront of the “From Brief to Broadcast” discussion. The Glowfrog team used their extensive knowledge and experience to analyse and break down the processes of client briefing stretching from being handed a client brief to delivering a final product.
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who participated in the VFX Festival and to all of those involved who made it such a success. The Glowfrog team have blogged about their experience at the VFX Festival which can be read here.
