Framestore has had a strong start to 2010 winning our 14th VES Award for Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Feature Motion Picture for Sherlock Holmes and an Imagina Award for Film VFX on Where the Wild Things Are. We are also proud to have been VFX contributors on the Oscar Award winning Avatar.
Framestore has won numerous international awards including the 2008 Academy and BAFTA double for Achievement in Special Effects, two Technical Academy Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, four BAFTA Craft Awards and fourteen Primetime Emmy Awards.

Framestore has been working in digital film and video for over 20 years now, creating original and astonishing work that has helped make it the largest visual effects and computer animation studio in Europe.

Since 2004, Framestore NY has been flying the flag in the world of US commercials, landing work for clients such as GE, FedEx, Hoover, Pepsi, Nike, Smirnoff, and Coca-Cola, and winning top awards including both an Emmy and a VES in 2006.

Framestore has a bespoke design department, responsible for a huge body of work across a range of media that includes commercials (Playstation 3), television (Comic Relief 2007), film title credits (Creation, 1408), DVD menu design and authoring (Green Wing), and much more.
Framestore is the UK's leading authority on stereoscopic 3D. Framestore uses innovative talent and technology to create hi-end images for every platform including a video game trailer for DJ Hero. In addition to working for Hollywood studios, advertisers, ad agencies, production and gaming companies, Framestore also generates its own paid-for content: eg VFX in Your Pocket and Polar Peril.
