As we near the launch of our US campus in Santa Monica, CA, Escape Studios will be hosting our first ever Summer Apprenticeship Program. Over a period of 12 weeks, selected juniors, interns, PAs, TAs, or runners from some of our partner studios including The Mill, The Third Floor, Method, a52, and Digital Domain and will gain the full Escape Studios’ experience.
In addition to material from our regular Visual Effects classroom course, apprentices will work in groups on production focused projects which will prepare them for industry standard practices.
Led by Escape's Academic Director Tad Leckman, the apprentices will be covering several topics throughout the course of the program including pipeline and preproduction, cinematography, compositing, camera projection, set extension, look development and lighting.
