Class Act from Pixar Master!

Last week saw Andrew Gordon, Pixar Animator, touch down in the UK to deliver his renowned animation master class.

The animation community gathered from far and wide to attend this exciting event, with attendees from leading games, visual effects and animation companies as well as an array of students and freelancers.

Held at the Apollo cinema in London’s West End, the event lasted for two days during which Andrew broke down every element of the character animation process. Beginning with the 12 cornerstone principles of animation and revealing the advanced techniques Pixar use to give their animation that extra magical quality, Andrew provided a wonderful insight into what it takes to produce animation of the highest calibre.
