Compositing Course

Compositors are the unsung heroes of the visual effects world. Whilst the work of 3D artists often grabs the spotlight compositors exert a significant influence over the final result. Convincing visual effects depend on the seamless combination of various elements including live-action, matte paintings and CG. So where do you start?

From the outset you’ll be working with actual footage from major film, television and advertising productions. In order to get hired as a junior compositor in the visual effects industry you’ll need to be able to hit the ground running. This course ensures that you’ll do just that with over 85% of our compositing graduates finding jobs shortly after completion. This is largely due to the experienced hand of course tutor Mark Pinheiro who having worked on films such as Aliens vs. Predator, 10,000 BC and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian knows what it takes to succeed in this competitive industry.
