ZBrush is a digital sculpting tool that combines 3D/2.5D modelling, texturing and painting. This 3D modelling software uses technology which stores lighting, colour, material, and depth information for all objects on the screen. Using the ZBrush modelling tool is more akin to sculpting compared with traditional modelling packages.

Included in ZBrush 3D modelling software package are ZMapper and Displacement Exporter, ported to allow more flexibility for exporting work. And by Using Smart Resym technology, ZBrush now includes Poseable Symmetry so users can keep symmetry on their model at the click of a button.
