Students use Wacom tablets!

The students at Escape Studios should be excited about study this autumn, following the announcement that Wacom tablets will be available in every classroom for every student!

With over 50 Wacom Intuos3 A5 Wide tablets, Escape is using the latest technology available.

Guy Martin, Area Sales Manager for UK & Ireland at Wacom, stated: "By introducing students to industry standard tools, they will have a far greater understanding of the creative pipeline. We are extremely excited that one of the worlds leading CG schools has adopted Wacom in such a way."

Escape's Commercial Director, Mark Cass, remarked: "The tablets are an integral part of the way that we teach. The ability to work quickly and with ease gives our students much more scope to be creative. Today's CG process demands that artists work in extremely fine detail. Without the sensitivity and reliability of Wacom, we would be unable to teach our students production methodology.'

For current users, the tablets make an invaluable difference to their day. Liam Jackson, student at Escape said 'their ease of use and speed make them a fantastic resource; we're able to create textures in Photoshop, 3D sculpt in ZBrush and in Mudbox, it's great that we get to experience this software before going on to work in the industry.'

Escape Studios has also worked on outsourcing projects such as 10,000 Years BC and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, using Wacom tablets and producing phenomenal results.

Wacom graphics tablets now available from Escape Studios for Commercial use from £165 (Intuos3 A6 Wide Tablet Pen Mac/Win)
