RenderMan was key in recent project - Saddington & Baynes

Escape Studios' customer Saddington & Baynes has recently let on how the use of RenderMan for Maya™ helped them develop another successful project, this time for Cathey Pacific.

The brief was to depict the various generations of aircraft types that have been used in the sixty years since the airline's founding. The aircraft look lifesize and line an 80 metre corridor that is used as a route between terminals at Hong Kong International Airport, as if waiting at departure gates.

Early in the production render tests were taken, which rapidly lead them towards the use of RenderMan for Maya as the solution.

Saddington & Baynes are internationally renowned for creative work across many different disciplines, including automotive retouching.
