Maya for the masses as Autodesk lower Unlimited price

There’s fantastic news for all those wanting to get creating as Autodesk has lowered the price of Maya Unlimited 2008.

This 3D modelling, animation, and rendering software has all the amazing tools that Maya Complete 2008 gives you plus a whole lot more at an incredible discount.

Maya Unlimited 2008 is now available for up to 24% less than the normal price, and if you’re wanting to upgrade from Maya Complete then you can expect up to an astounding 35% off the RRP.

Included are Maya Hair and Maya Fur for direct control of fur, hair and grass simulations, and Maya Fluid Effects to simulate a huge variety of pyrotechnic, viscous liquid, and open-ocean effects.

And there’s more. With Maya nCloth you can control cloth, deformable plastic and metal simulations, inflatable objects, as well as rigid-body and fluidic-type effects, and Maya Live combines 2D and 3D live-action with 3D elements.

In addition to all this Autodesk has also announced Maya 2008 Extension 2 software for subscription customers. The extension gives enhanced creative control over polygon modelling and UV texturing, as well as improvements to the Maya Muscle tool set.
