Isilon X-Series Storage System Offers Unprecedented Speed

Isilon Systems is back and still on form! This time the leader in storage solutions has released its new X-Series IQ clustered storage system which promises to deliver unprecedented levels of performance and speed.

At the heart of the X-Series is the fact that it’s the industry's first and only storage system to scale to greater than 1.6 Petabytes of capacity. This provides 10 Gigabytes per second in a single file system and single volume. That’s 100 times the scalability and 20 times the performance of traditional SAN and NAS storage systems!

It seems that these new developments have been well received too, with companies like Kodak Gallery, Arcis Corporation, and PetroChina having already adopted Isilon's X-Series to reduce costs while being able to gain instant access to critical business information.
