Latest release information

New performance enhancements in Autodesk MotionBuilder 7.5 Extension 2 accelerate complex, high-quality animation projects. Animators will benefit from improved load speeds for file input/output, and optimizations for plotting and faster scene evaluation.

The new Biped Template enables 3ds Max software users to quickly rig their Biped characters in MotionBuilder. Furthermore, a new finger solver in the Actor toolset allows animators to apply optical marker data to a character’s fingers in real-time.

Autodesk MotionBuilder 7.5 Extension 2 offers support for additional hardware technologies and operating systems, including Mac OS X as a universal binary application, and Windows XP 64-bit and 32-bit operating systems.

Support for Intel-based Macintosh and PowerPC computers provides customers with additional options as they build their ideal pipeline, while support for Windows XP 64-bit enhances customer capabilities and performance when working with large and complex scene data.
