“I believe CG is an art as much as any other. I also believe that Escape gives the perfect start to any artist wanting to kick start their career.”

So said Simon who designed and now teaches our Games courses. His experience means that all our students are in the ideal position to learn the essential tips and tricks to start a career in Games.

After studying Fine Art, Simon made the jump to computer graphics at Bits Studios which would only be the beginning of a 13 year career that would lead him to Escape.

Back in 1997 he started at Sony’s London Studio to work in senior and lead positions on 9 published titles. Ranging from environments to characters and animation, Simon worked on projects including 'Total NBA '97', 'TIF', 'Getaway Black Monday', 'Kinetic', 'Kinetic Combat' and Home.

After 10 years, however, it was time to spread his wings once more and Simon moved on, freelancing this time. He worked visualising museum interiors, as well as Photoshop and Modelling work before joining us here.
