Daniel Shutt

Daniel started working in the 3D industry in 1994, producing architectural renderings for the Sega World complex in Piccadilly Circus.

After that he then moved into the games industry putting in time with companies such as Divide By Zero and Sierra before moving into post-production at London based effects house Lost in Space working on high profile broadcast work for clients such as the BBC and the Discovery Channel.

After a year Daniel formed his own company The Atlantean Picture Company, building a client list that includes 4:2:2, BBC, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Channel 4 and ITV. Working with Nexus Productions he was involved with the award-winning ‘Honda, Hate’ promo and the titles for the ‘Pink Panther’ film.

Daniel’s experience in providing CG for a variety of projects means that he’s exceptionally qualified to teach at Escape Studios, which he’s been doing since 2004.
