New Skillset funding for September Animation Courses!

We are pleased to announce that once again, the Skillset Film Skills Fund have awarded us new training grants for our courses. The funding comes as part of the CPD (Continued Professional Development) initiative, offered by Skillset to support further training for existing film industry professionals and freelancers. In order to be eligible, applicants must be able to demonstrate previous professional experience in any area of the feature film industry. The funded courses will be 3D Foundation and Animation courses. The courses will be available to eligible candidates with a 70% reduction on the full fees. 3D Foundation is our professional introduction to all aspects of Maya software, allowing students to develop all the necessary skills to begin a career in CG for film visual effects. 3D Foundation contains tuition in the following areas; Introduction to Maya Our animation course will allow students to hone their animation skills under the supervision of Jeff Pratt, former Pixar Animation Studios animator and Escape Studios resident animation specialist. The courses are suitable for both traditional animators looking to take their skills into the realm of CG, and those with no previous animation or CG experience.. Both courses are full-time and run for 6 weeks commencing on September 29th and 10th November respectively.
