We're renowned for many things here at Escape, chief among them courses and training imbued with professional production experience. As a result we boast an impressive instructor roster combining a core team of specialists supplemented with expert freelancers.

So, where do we go from there? Well, there's always room for improvement so we've now brought in yet more talent to give our students the very best from the industry’s inside track. The latest additions to the team are:

Simon Fenton

Simon has spent the last 10 years at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s London studio. As a 3D generalist his comprehensive toolset has had him occupy senior roles leading environment and character teams. His credits include 'The Getaway' and the BAFTA winning EyeToy series.

Nick Savy

Nick’s 3D experience has spanned both the games and visual effects industries for 10 years. Having worked for Sony and Sega as a games artist, Nick then became Head of FMV at Glassworks and senior character TD at Double Negative and Cinesite. His film credits include 'Harry Potter', 'Batman Begins', 'Aliens vs. Predator' and 'The Golden Compass'.

Jeff Pratt

Jeff must have one of the coolest CV’s we’ve ever seen - he worked at NASA as a space shuttle systems engineer before jumping to Pixar where he’s been an animator for the last ten years, working on films like 'Toy Story' 1 and 2, 'A Bug’s Life', 'Monsters Inc'. and 'Finding Nemo'.

Escape’s Training Development Director Lee Danskin said, “The single hardest part of my job is finding people who are not only talented technically but able to teach effectively.

“We’ve set the quality bar very high here at Escape which is why I’m so chuffed to be bringing on board three such outstanding individuals. We work hard to constantly improve the quality of the training here and I’m excited by the contribution I know these guys will make.”
