For over six years Escape
has been seeing its graduates get the kind of jobs they’ve always dreamt about, and the games industry is no exception. Electronic Arts, Free
Radical Design, TT Games and Zoë Mode have all recognised the skills we teach and taken artists who’ve studied
here. Take Nicole Gabriel who’s
been at Electronic Arts for around two years now. She entered as a junior and
quickly became a Lead/Senior Artist. Nicole’s worked on
some truly massive titles too. The highly-destructive ‘Black’ and ‘Burnout Paradise’, the latest in the series of
smash’em’up racers, are two of the top-sellers she's been involved with. Another graduate who found a
great opening in games is Ben Moseley. He was invited in to talk to TT Games
and after having a look at what they do he jumped at the chance to join. TT Games is
best known for its massive-selling series of Star Wars Lego games but its
Narnia title also wowed gamers of all ages. We’ve also
seen Glyn Evans and Ross Colgan go down to Brighton to join Zoë Mode and Samir
Battistotti find work at Free Radical Design. He worked on ‘Haze’ for
Ubisoft and is now working on a huge but secret
title for Lucus Arts. In addition, Chris Bradwell found work at Proper
Games in All of them tell us they’re
delighted with their work and can’t imagine being where they are without the
training and inspiration they found at Escape. If you’d like any more information on games courses, or any other, then please feel free to contact Jason our Training Manager.
