Thursday 3rd May 2007 Escape Studios turns five this week and we're celebrating by holding a party for all past students or 'Escapees' and friends from the industry. The company was created in response to the lack of specific skills-led training facilities outside of the US and aimed to discover the next generation of TV, film and video games talent. Since that launch we have seen students go on to work at companies such as Pixar, Sony, The Mill and The Moving Picture Company and working on high-profile projects such as 'X-Men', 'Cars' and 'Harry Potter'. Attendees to the party will be treated to a show of student work from over the years as well as the chance to meet with old and new faces. Escape Studios CEO Dominic Davenport said, "We are excited to be joined by all of our friends, Escapees, partners and colleagues from the past five years to help us celebrate the growth and success of Escape Studios."
