Course Description

This 12 week Compositing course is going to give you a keen understanding of digital compositing theory and production techniques to take into the industry.

You'll have plenty of time to practise with two project weeks at key points in the course. Not only will you hone your skills and consolidate the previous week’s work, but you'll complete professional effects shots using actual footage and plates supplied by Escape’s industry partners primarily using Shake but also Nuke, Fusion and Toxik.

These project weeks will focus on developing the skills required to attain an entry-level position within a high-end Visual Effects facility.

This course was developed by Escape tutor Mark Pinheiro who has worked in visual effects for the last 10 years, as well as producing and directing short films. His visual effects credits include 'Tomb Raider', 'Black Hawk Down', 'Aliens vs. Predator', 'Troy' and 'Harry Potter'.
