Nice one James! – Escape graduate wins VES award.

Congratulations are in order for one of our very own escapee’s, James Sindle. James won a much coveted Visual Effects Society award for outstanding animated character in a live action broadcast for a program or commercial for Britvic’s Drench ad.

Escape were thrilled when we found out and couldn’t be more proud, Dominic Davenport CEO at Escape Studios said: ‘James is an important member of the escapee community - as one of the original students of our Maya Core course, it’s so good to know that he’s doing what he loves best and being rewarded for it’

We caught up with James during one of his manic working days as 3D supervisor at The Mill to find out what his real reaction was when he found out he’d won: ‘It's great; winning this award means that those long hours are worth it! Escape definitely put me on the right path'
