Rare looks to Escape Studios for new blood

Rare looks to Escape Studios for new blood

Rare Studios has a long and illustrious history in the games industry, responsible for classics like Donkey Kong, Goldeneye, and recent hits Kameo (pictured bottom right) and Viva Piñata (pictured above and right).

So, Rare knows what's what and by insisting Escape handles their software, hardware and training requirements, the latest development comes as no surprise. The studio is looking into our recruitment services and wants to hire Escape graduates to supplement its development team.

Rare is after 3 or 4 graduates, or Escapees as they are known. Trained primarily in Maya the candidates all recently completed the Escape Games course which was developed in collaboration with Rare funnily enough.

Working for a studio with a pedigree like Rare, part of Microsoft Game Studios since 2002, is a fantastic place to start for any aspiring artist. Being trained to a point where they’re able to start in a real production environment, more and more Escapees are enjoying success at the highest levels of the computer graphics industry.
