Escapee Manuel Cosentino lands on his feet at Aardman

'The Amazing Adventures of Morph', 'Creature Comforts' and 'Chicken Run' are just three of the pies that Aardman has had its fingers in since 1976, bringing animation to the masses both on TV and the big screen. Little wonder that Manuel Cosentino jumped at the chance to take his skills and enthusiasm to work with them.

How Aardman and Manuel met is typical of the way that Escape works. The team at Aardman recently bought PFTrack, the tracking software, from Escape and decided they needed an expert to show them the application’s full capabilities. Enter Manuel who had recently finished his training at Escape.

After his course, Manuel had spent some time in the Escape Pods where he was tracking shots every day, preparing him perfectly for stepping out into a studio environment. What's more, he so impressed the folks at Aardman that he was invited to stay on and work on other projects.

With its history firmly rooted in animation, Aardman represents the extent to which CG has become essential to so many industries. It’s only with artists trained to the standards that Escape achieves that companies can continue to push the boundaries of their art, something which Escape intends to build upon.
