Fugitive & Demon look to Escape Recruitment

Fugitive & Demon look to Escape Recruitment

One of our superstars of the month has to be Ed Brown who answered the call for two jobs, and one of them literally at the last moment’s notice.

It started back in November when Fugitive Studios gave Escape recruitment a call looking for a talented AFX compositor. We have plenty of those and Fugitive loved all the artists we sent for interview. However, things changed and the project was cancelled, only to be reinstated in December! Freelancer Ed Brown filled the role.

“Having sourced hardware and software from Escape whose vast knowledge helped design, build and equip our infrastructure we thought it appropriate that we should utilize their recruiting skills too.” said Tim Baxter, Director of Fugitive.

“With Escape’s strong industry connections and learning environment we know they will always be able to supply us with whom we need to take on bigger and better projects.”

It wasn’t the last project he was involved in that month as Demon Studio got in touch with us in a mild panic on the last Friday before Christmas. They needed an AFX compositor to work the entire weekend and it simply had to be that night with someone prepared to put it some crazy long hours. Well, Ed the man stepped up once again and he went straight from Fugitive to start at Demon.

Mark Utterson at Demon commented, “Sourcing an artist mid-afternoon on the Friday before Christmas was like I was asking the impossible but Escape got back to me within 40 minutes. It was an unbelievable service.”

Escape’s dedicated recruitment team is on hand to help with any personnel request companies may have. It has access to a select group of candidates so for any information you may need please contact Paul the Recruitment Director.
