Tony Mott, Edge

Tony began his career in videogame journalism back in 1994 when he joined Super Play magazine as a staff writer. In the years since he's also worked in videogame production and marketing, giving him valuable insight in his media work when assessing games and the wider videogame industry.

In 2003 he launched Channel 4’s Teletext-based videogame section, GameCentral, attracting a readership of 1.2m viewers, and in 2006 he launched Future’s acclaimed independent Nintendo magazine, NGamer.

He now lends his energy to serve as editor-in-chief of Edge and NGamer. Launched in 1993, Edge is an international, multi-format videogame magazine aimed at the hobbyist end of the market and the videogame industry itself.
