Philip Hunt, Studio AKA

So, what does it take to run a successful studio? Philip knows as, under his Creative Direction, Studio AKA has developed into a world-class animation company known for idiosyncratic excellence and an innovative appeal across a myriad of creative projects.

Philip is a hands-on type of guy, and getting stuck into the roll of a senior animation director he’s got to work on an eclectic range of commercials and animation projects including award-winning spots for clients as diverse as Orange, Dyson, FIFA, BMW and many more.

A Graduate of London’s Royal College of Art, Philip’s directing work includes the multi-award winning short film ‘Ah Pook is Here’, and along with regular lecture appearances worldwide, Philip also contributes his time as an external assessor, guest lecturer and advisory panel member for several institutions across Europe.
