Hector Macleod, Glassworks

Hector’s first taste of post-production came when he got a job as a runner for the Moving Picture Company at the age of 23. “I knew absolutely nothing about post-production but it immediately fascinated me,” he said.

He stayed with the company for several years before being headhunted for the role of managing director of another special-effects company, and it was then on to set up a new one in New York. From there it was back to London to found Glassworks in 1996.

Working as Executive Producer Hector has developed Glassworks, which now has offices in both London (Soho) and Amsterdam, providing award-winning digital animation and effects expertise for the production of creative visual content.
