Dave Throssell, Fluid Pictures

Looking at Dave’s career you can see that all roads have led him to Fluid Pictures - from creating visual effects at the Moving Picture Company in 1983, where he was head of their new CGI department, to The Mill in 1991, with stints at Rushes, The Bureau and his own NY based company in between.

Along the way Dave picked up many awards and a lot of experience on hundreds of commercials, acting as visual effects supervisor on ‘The Nile’, ‘Dragons Alive’, ‘In the Womb’, ‘Dirty War’ and ‘Body Of’.

2006 saw Dave and Adrian Wyer found Fluid Pictures, a boutique graphics and visual effects house based in Beak Street in London’s Soho which specialises in content for TV documentaries and dramas.
