Dom Davenport is CEO and founder of Escape Studios. After graduating with a first-class degree and Masters in Fine Art from Chelsea Art School where he won the prestigious Henry Moore Prize, Dom worked for leading visual effects studios Glassworks, Double Negative and Me company.

From his own experience, Dom realized that a skills gap existed between what universities and colleges were teaching students and what 3D professionals expected from graduates. Dom decided to bridge that gap. He called his new project Escape Studios -a place where artists would get focussed vocational training in the specific practical skills needed to work in CG. The rest is history.

Escape Studios is now the world’s leading CG trade school. And while his vision is now much broader, Dom’s simple aim – to ready artists for careers in the computer graphics industry – remains.
