CVMP, the European Conference on Visual Media Production, taking place on the 16th & 17th of November 2011 at the BFI Southbank, London, is putting out a final call for papers.
The 8th annual conference, will discusses the latest research, advances and state-of-the-art industry practice. It will bring together professionals in media production from the film, broadcast and games industries as well as leading academics and researchers in imaging and graphics.
The deadline for the submission of full technical papers of up to 10 pages is June 20th. High-quality papers are invited which present novel research related to any aspect of media production. All full papers are eligible for the highly sought after BBC Best Paper Award 2011.

- Nicola Hoyle, FX Supervisor at Double Negative
- Jeremy Doig Director of Video Tech at Google
- Roberto Cipolla, Prof. of Information Engineering at University of Cambridge, (Recently Director of Toshiba Research Europe)
