Orchestra + Animation = Awesome!

Orchestra + Animation = Awesome!

We saw this video (above) created by students from the University for the Creative Arts, and not only did we fall in love with the computer generated imagery, but we were impressed by the fact that this animation was synchronised with a live recording of  Milhaud’s 'La Création du Monde'.

Everyone loves a bit of free education, and the internet is full to the brim with juicy info ready for you to soak that brain sponge of yours in. As opposed to the monotony of modern day schooling, you’ll often find that thanks to video streaming channels such as YouTube and Vimeo, information is often presented in an exciting and enthusiastic way.

It’s been a sweltering couple of weeks, and in the UK, it’s a well-known fact that we love to talk about the weather, what kind of London based establishment would we be if we didn’t blog about it?

World War Z - Next Level VFX!

World War Z - Next Level VFX!

Hi dudes! It's been a while since I've seen a film where the special effects really surprised me. The thing is that these days everything is ordinary: it's absolutely normal to go to the cinema and see giant robots, extreme explosions, blah blah blah.

Congrats to all our Escapees who helped make ‘Man of Steel’ possible

Congrats to all our Escapees who helped make ‘Man of Steel’ possible

By now, we’re guessing, many of you VFX fans out there will have seen Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel. If you haven’t, we’re sure you have a valid excuse. And for those of you who have, you may have noticed the epic credits list for the VFX department in particular. As we respectfully stay at the end of the movie to watch the credits roll, we’re always proud to spot names we recognise among the list – the names of our graduates.
