As part of a bucket load of new visual content we're planning to upload in the coming weeks, we posted a poll onto our Facebook page - asking you the viewer, what VFX related tips and tricks you'd find most useful! If some of the titles went over your head, not to worry - as here are the explanations for each!
VFX artists out there will know that the best CG is the stuff that remains unnoticed.
Now that I have your attention, please click onto the video above because you are in for a real treat.
It would appear I’m not the only one with a sweet tooth here at Escape…
Escape to Stuttgart!
“I’ve waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time”
Are you familiar with the phrase ‘never let the truth get in the way of a good story’? Well it seems the Jurassic Park universe is adhering to this rule for its 4th instalment.
Another busy day on Front-of-House…
Nickelodeon has come a long way from the days of Kenan and Kel, Saved by the Bell, Rocket Power, Doug, and Hey Arnold! (just a handful of my personal favourites) and it’s fair to say that considering this most recent announcement, the level of broadcast on kids television is becoming ever more sophisticated.

I haven't yet seen the Croods, but my four year old's pester power means a trip to the cinema is inevitable this Easter. When I saw the first trailer a number of months ago, however I was left a little cold and felt little compulsion to make the effort to see it. It seemed rather predictable, not particularly lovable characters and no real 'hooks' to grab me. I did change my mind completely a few weeks later when Chris Sanders started releasing his story boards for the Croods. They are nothing short of stunning.
This morning, Escape Relationship Manager Anita Gribble and Head of 2D Davi Stein, took students on a trip to the heart of the West End – to see the newly opened Double Negative facility in Great Portland Street, which opened just 3 months ago! I loved the first slice of 'Despicable Me'. And it’d be an understatement to say I am excited about this new trailer and release of ‘Despicable Me 2’ this summer! On the site, you can see some of their 3D turntables of the CG car they designed that is amphibious, there’s also some concept art on there too.
