Where Could a Career in VFX Take You?
Doing a VFX course can lead your career in many directions. For many of our students it has been the launching pad for a career in post-production, for film, TV and commercials. Many students have also gone on to work in other areas such as games and architectural visualisation. We teach the fundamentals and practicalities of working in CG, paving the way for what you will eventually specialise in.

This has created some concern and confusion over the film. Now before I continue, the aim of this blog isn’t to go into depth about these concerns specifically, because to be honest there are many websites already talking about it and I simply want to suggest some of the potential repercussions.

Putting a slightly more creative and somewhat modern spin on this trailer, the teaser doesn’t give much plot away, but rather sets up the movie as an action-packed roller coaster, filled with guns, explosions, intense conversation, dazzling locations, hurdling tube trains and more guns!

Warrior Women
We live in a time of minimalistic female role models. Gone are the days where young females looked up to icons like Florence Nightingale, Rosa Parks and The Pankhurst Sisters. If you look at our culture today we are inundated with reality TV role models. In no way do I have any issues with reality TV, everyone needs a little light relief in their lives and if watching the current episode of Made in Chelsea or TOWIE does it for you, then who am I to judge?
A Decisive Moment
“The decisive moment. It is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event as well as the precise organization of forms which gives that event its proper expression” Henri Cartier-Bresson
Hungry Enough To Take On The Avengers?
You may think we are a little behind the curve with posting our views on the new Avengers Assemble movie. That, my friends, is where you are wrong. We don’t want to be just like everyone else. This film has Andrew Garfield of The Social Network fame, starring as Peter Parker in an untold story that presents us with a different version of Spider-Man. It is due in cinemas from July 3rd, but you probably knew that already.
